About Jennifer:
I earned my BA from George Washington University in 2010, majoring in Psychology and Hispanic Literature, and my MA in 2014 in Social Psychology with Dr. David Amodio and the Social Neuroscience Lab. My research interests involve examining the complexities of intergroup relations via social and affective neuroscientific approaches. In particular, I am interested in the neural and behavioral processes that result in decreased empathy for racial outgroups, as well as the perceptual, affective, and cognitive consequences of perceived discrimination.
