About me
I received my B.A. in Mathematics from Cornell University in
1999 and am a third-year graduate student in the Social Psychology
program. I am interested in the effects of stereotype and gender
activation on women’s performance in mathematics. My recent work has
focused on the effects of a gender prime on learning new
mathematical material and subsequent recall. I have also been
involved with research on cross-cultural nonverbal communication,
particularly emotional expression and recognition.
