Katrina
Swett - International RelationsDr. Katrina Swett received her undergraduate education in
Political Science at Yale University (B.A., 1974) and her J.D. at the University
of California, Hastings College of the Law (1976). She received her Ph.D. in
History from the University of Southern Denmark (2006). She has taught Human
Rights and American Foreign Policy at the University of Southern Denmark, served
as Director of the Graduate Program in Public Policy at New England College, and
worked as Deputy Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee – Criminal Justice
Subcommittee. She has also been active in Democratic politics for more than two
decades and was the Democratic congressional nominee for New Hampshire's 2nd
District in 2002. She currently serves as President and CEO of
the newly established Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and
Justice.
