Lecturer
Linda
Rabieh - Political TheoryPhD, University of Toronto, 2001
Linda Rabieh teaches political philosophy and supervises students who
pursue political science internships. Her research interests include
classical political philosophy, the nature and role of gender in Greek
classical thought, and the philosophical questions surrounding war,
courage, justice, and ancient, participatory democracy. During the
2002 calendar year she was a fellow in the Program on Constitutional
Government at Harvard University, during which time she completed a
manuscript entitled The Problem of Heroic Courage in Plato's
Political Thought, which is currently under review. She is also
completing a study of the education of women in Plato's Laws. She is a
political junkie, who loves getting inside information from her
students who intern with political campaigns or in the offices of our
state and federal representatives.
