Adjunct Faculty

Russell Howard is a retired United States Army general and is currently Director of the Jepsen Center for Counterterrorism at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Before coming to Fletcher he was head of the Department of Social Sciences at West Point.

Previously he served as the Commander of the 1st Special Forces Group (airborne) at Fort Lewis, Washington. Gen. Howard was an Army Chief of Staff Fellow at Harvard University.
