Political Science majors taking the American National Politics or American Foreign Policy program
may count two courses toward their Political Science major. Political Science majors taking the
Economic Policy program may count one course (the internship) as a political science course.
- In 2010-2011, Political Science majors taking the American National Politics,
American Foreign Policy, or Gender and Politics program may count two courses
toward their Political Science major (students participating in the 2009-2010
program may count three courses toward their Political Science major).
Political Science majors taking the Economic Policy program may count one course
(the internship) as a political science course that will count toward the
Political Science major.
- International Relations majors should consult the IR Program. Requirements
for IR majors vary across the specific IR thematic concentrations. The
Tufts-in-Washington Seminar does not fulfill the IR Seminar requirement.
- Political Science minors taking the American National Politics or
American Foreign Policy program may count two courses toward the
Political Science minor. Political Science minors taking the Economic
Policy program may count one course (the internship) toward the minor.
- Economics majors who wish to know whether a course may count toward an
Economics major should use WebCenter to submit it for review in advance
of enrolling.
Tufts-in-Washington program courses contribute to the Tufts' GPA,
and two of the courses may contribute to the PS major.
