Suggested Programs of Study for a Major in Physics:

These pages provide suggested course sequences for fulfilling the requirements of the various physics majors. They are offered as a guide to help majors and prospective majors plan their courses, but they are not rigid frameworks. There are many other ways to tailor your curriculum to meet the requirements and satisfy your own needs and interested. Anyone pursuing or considering a physics major should visit the Department and meet with a faculty advisor. All physics majors are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities to become involved in research.
