Department Mourns John Burlingame

The Department notes with sadness the passing of long-time friend and benefactor John Burlingame. He was a graduate of the department and for many years a distinguished executive at General Electric. He endowed the Burlingame Fellowship, which is awarded annually to one or more outstanding graduate students.
