Burlingame Fellowship
The John F. Burlingame Fellowship has been awarded annually since 1989 to one or more
advanced graduate students in Physics who exhibit exceptional ability in research. It was
endowed by John F. Burlingame, a graduate of the department who went on to become a distinguished
executive at General Electric.
