PERSONALIZED PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
What is Tufts Personalized Performance Program?
Who are we?
The Tufts Personalized Performance Program is a group of experienced
undergraduate and postgraduate trainers who provide guidance in the
attainment of fitness goals for students, faculty, staff and
community members.
Our Mission Statement
The Tufts Personalized Performance Program was created to bring
a greater awareness of health and fitness issues to the greater
Tufts community. Each training session is meant to educate the
client and teach them not only proper technique, but a more
comprehensive exercise program. Our goal is for our clients to
understand the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and how to
incorporate this philosophy into all areas of their lives.
Personal Attention
We offer one-on-one personal training sessions (or small group
sessions of between 2 and 4 clients) that are customized to the
client's strengths, weaknesses, needs, and goals. We provide
motivation and incentive by working with clients to reach their full
potential.
Integration
As part of the
Tufts community, the Personalized Performance Program works with
many other campus organizations. We work with and offer cross referrals to the
following services across campus:
- Health Services
- Counseling Center
- Tufts School of Nutrition (i.e. Tufts Longitudinal Health Study)
- F.I.T. Orientation
- Physical Education Classes
- Mini Courses (Group Fitness)
- Intramurals
