Gal Kober's primary areas of research are philosophy of biology and environmental ethics. She is completing a Ph.D. at Boston University's Department of Philosophy. Her dissertation, "Biology Without Species: A Solution to the Species Problem", assesses the ontological status of species, and argues that the concept "species" does not play a significant role in the theory of evolutionary biology. gal.kober@tufts.edu |
