My primary philosophical interest is in theories of agency and selfhood, particularly as they inform ethics and the philosophy of law. This interest has led to others, to wit, meta-ethics, moral psychology, action theory, philosophy of technology, and political philosophy (which is actually where I began). Out in the world my interests include bikes, tea, reading widely, correspondence, the art of friendship, playing the ukulele badly/with abandon, and bringing philosophical ideas to bear on the problems we all face. |
