Valentina Urbanek
Lecturer BiographyValentina Urbanek is a native New Englander, educated in Boston at Northeastern, Tufts, then MIT. Her area of specialty is moral philosophy. Her dissertation, which she will defend this fall, is about the role that harm plays in explaining whether an action is morally wrong. She has additional research interests in political philosophy, particularly distributive justice and the importance of equality, bio-ethics, particularly creation ethics, and in philosophy and literature.
