Biography

Indrani Bhattacharjee is currently working on a PhD dissertation at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her current work is interpretive in nature: in particular, it involves making sense of some puzzling remarks by the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein about our beliefs about such obvious matters as the existence of the world outside our minds. When not trying to converse with a guy who died in 1951, Indrani works on figuring out her own ideas about what leads us to claim certainty about such things.
