A Tufts Student Publication

A HISTORY STILL IN THE MAKING

Outbreath is a literary magazine which publishes short stories, poetry, essays, one-act plays, student photography, and art submissions by Tufts students. Outbreath was first published in 1998 and has grown with the talent and vision of the ever-increasing student staff.

The magazine staff works as a professional unit, receiving and reviewing submissions, copy-editing selected works, and designing the layout of the publication. Creative writing workshops are held frequently throughout the semester to provide our writers with peer criticism. We attend poetry readings around campus and advertise public speaking venues in the area.

Thanks to the founding editor, Cal Levis (class of 2001), Outbreath was parented to prosperity. The current editors hope to bring the magazine into even greater prominence around the campus and within the community.
