In
its tenth year, the Emerging Leaders Conference brings together
current Tufts students who have exhibited leadership potential
through their involvement and contributions in the Tufts Community.
The participants discuss leadership topics and build on their
knowledge through workshops and activities facilitated by our staff
and leadership professionals from outside the university. Our goal
is to show how they can apply their leadership skills to their
chosen career path once they leave Tufts and become active citizens
in our world. It is a "once in a lifetime" experience. Each Emerging
Leader is nominated by a faculty/staff member or a peer because of
they have exemplified excellence in their leadership role on campus.
They all represent the best in their respective classes.
The conference takes place on a Saturday
and involves the students with hands-on leadership activities and
powerful discussions directly geared towards the challenges of being
a first or second year student leader.
