Entry-Level Doctoral Program
Our Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ELOTD) is designed for students entering with a degree in a field other than OT. Students will experience an exciting program combining a diverse curriculum, research, service learning, and fieldwork. Our program prepares students to graduate as a generalist, ready to work in any area of the field while fostering leadership skills, allowing our students to emerge as top practitioners and researchers in occupational therapy. We believe that our program can teach our students to be Empowered, Innovative, Educated and Inspired in the profession of Occupational Therapy.
NOW ENROLLING FOR 2019
Please note: The Department of Occupational Therapy at Tufts University has initiated the steps to transition our entry-level master’s program (ELM) to an entry-level doctoral program (EL-OTD). Our first EL-OTD class will start June 10th, 2019. At this time, we will no longer offer an entry-level master's degree program. We will continue to offer our Post-Professional OTD and Certificate programs.
*The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) has mandated that the entry-level degree requirement for the occupational therapist will move to the doctoral level by July 1, 2027.
