Megan Gately joined the Occupational Therapy Department as a part-time lecturer in the fall of 2016.
Megan is a Tufts "double Jumbo," receiving her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from the Department of
Occupational Therapy in 2014. In addition to teaching courses such as OT Practice: Older Adults and
Clinical Reasoning: Interactive Reasoning, Megan works at the Bedford VA Medical Center in the Geriatrics Research,
Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) division. Her clinical research includes occupational therapy strategies for
dementia management, particularly utilizing telehealth modalities to support rural geriatric Veterans.
