Lectures & Seminars:
Distinguished Lectures in Nanotechnology
- for advanced energy materials and catalysts.
This lecture series, inaugurated at Tufts University in
2004, is co-sponsored by the NSF-Nanoscale Interdisciplinary Research Team (NIRT)
grant and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. The NIRT
director and organizer of the lecture series is Professor Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos.
The aim of the lecture series, which is a key feature of the outreach activities
of the NIRT grant, is to bring to campus leaders in materials science and
catalysis at the nanoscale to present advances in the field, describe
cutting-edge technologies, and share their perspectives for the transfer and
application of these new materials and methods to the production of clean and
affordable energy.
The lectures are announced to academic institutions and
energy-focused companies in the New England states and are open to the public.
