Research conducted in Tufts Nano-CEL aims to apply principles of heterogeneous catalysis to the solution of problems in the production of clean energy. The synthesis and characterization of novel metal-doped nanostructured oxides and their application as catalysts and sorbents in fuel gas processing and in air pollution abatement are main research areas of the lab.
