Monty Python Society

Here at MPS, we are committed to community service and general, unadulterated acts of pure silliness (not necessarily in that order).

Many people have asked us the very unfortunate question, "So, what do you do?" To completely answer that question, we must first look at what we don't do.

We don't:
  • Burn witches at the stake
  • Stone innocent people to death
  • Participate in public canings
  • Sing a capella
  • Dress in drag

Now that you are familiar with the finer points of what we don't do, you might still be wondering what exactly it is that we do do.

We do:

  • Blow off steam every Thursday night
  • Watch episodes of the (in)famous BBC show Monty Python's Flying Circus
  • Perform skits from the aforementioned television show before subjecting the campus to a Monty Python-related movie
  • Subvert the dominant culture of patriarchial law
