Monty Python Society

Special Report!!! Monty Python Society foils the cannon (again)

On Thursday, October 15, 1998, in order to show our Tufts spirit, we decided to take a tradition and modify it in our own special way. Using tin foil, we created a sculpture that we were proud of.

I was there to capture the event with my digital camera, and here is the proof (click on the thumbnails for larger pictures):

April and Marc at the meeting beforehand.
Alex, Steve, and Veg at the meeting beforehand.
At the cannon before the conversion.
An artist at work (Marc).
Crista, Josh, and Marc (eyes shining) applying the first layer of foil.
Lisa and Kevin play on the cannon.
Josh applying some foil.
A bunch of us milling around watching a few of us work on it.
April.
The first group shot (notice how proud we are of our creation).
The second group shot.
The third group shot (notice how tired we are of smiling).
A chalking.
Our mark on the side of the cannon.
Same shot - without a flash.
The other side of the cannon.
Crista and Josh put the extra foil to good use.
Mark and April after the work was done.
A slightly better picture of Mark and April.
