about tuftscope

Tuftscope, the Interdisciplinary Journal of Health, Ethics, & Policy was conceived in 2000 and first published in 2001 as a student peer reviewed journal, designed to provide a forum for discussion of the pertinent health care and biosocial debates in today's world. TuftScope accepts original articles on government health policy, public and community health, bioethics matters, medical education, research in the mentioned fields, and other various issues dealing with the science and art of medicine or our country's health care system. The principle objective of TuftScope is to bring together seemingly different viewpoints, citizenship and the health sciences, to transform thoughts and ideas into active citizenship and working policies. We accept both research papers and shorter commentaries on the aforementioned issues. Issues are published biannually and all papers published are subject to rigorous review by the Editorial Board.
