Welcome to the Machine Shop of the Tufts University Mechanical Engineering Department.

We are located in Bray Laboratory, 504 Boston Avenue, Room 114. The machine shop staff is ready to assist you with your machining job, whether it is for a course project or a research setup. We are equipped with a complete array of facilities for machining and other manufacturing tasks on most metals and polymers. Please take the time to browse the site and familiarize yourself with the shop.

Machining times are arranged through the Machining Facilities Coordinator (Mr. James Hoffman) during regular office hours; 8am to 4pm.
