The
curriculum of the BSE in Manufacturing Engineering Program prepares students for
professional careers in manufacturing engineering as well as in related careers
such as consulting, technical marketing, and business. The program also provides
a solid foundation for pursuing graduate study in manufacturing or management.
This program is structured to conform to ABET criteria for degrees in
Manufacturing Engineering. While the program is not ABET-accredited at this
time, the Departments expects to offer an accredited Manufacturing option,
probably within the context of a BSME degree, in the near future. Additional
information on this program is available in the Mechanical Engineering
Department Office.
