Undergraduate Degrees:

The Mechanical Engineering Department offers four different programs leading to the undergraduate degrees:

All the degree programs conform to the degree requirements of the College of Engineering as described in the University Bulletin. There are, however, important differences in the program objectives, in requirements and in the manner in which the programs are administered. Students should consider the specifics of each of the programs before making their choice.

The core undergraduate programs can be enhanced and personalized in a number of ways including undergraduate research and independent projects, double majors and minors, study abroad, internships and active participation in student societies. Students should discuss these options with their advisors to see what combination best fits their goals.
