achieve their dream of a higher education. Since its founding in
1985, ACCESS has provided financial aid information and scholarships
to thousands of Bostons students, helping them realize their higher
education goals and giving them a better foundation for a successful

Building Educated Leaders for
Life
BELL exists to dramatically increase the academic achievements,
self-esteem and life opportunities of children living in low-income,
urban communities. BELL currently educates more than 8,000 scholars
in 40 public school sites throughout Boston, New York City,
Baltimore and Washington D.C., and pursues a goal that 100% of their
scholars achieve academic and social proficiency in their formative
elementary school years.
Bottom Line
Bottom Line was founded in 1997 to improve the Boston community by
helping disadvantaged youth get in to college, graduate from
college, and go far in life. Since then, they have helped thousands
of students improve their lives and build stronger communities as
role models, leaders, parents and friends. Bottom Line is a
community-based organization that helps students at the beginning of
the college application process and continues to support them until
they earn a degree. By giving personalized attention and support to
low-income and first-generation-to-college students who are
motivated to earn a degree, students who work with Bottom Line are
graduating from college at the same rate as the wealthiest and most
supported students in the country.

significant impact on the STEM pipeline, on STEM teaching and
learning in GK-20, on GK-12 STEM outreach, and on STEM Education
Research.
