Why did you join MACC VISTA: I joined MACC VISTA, because I was inspired by those I knew to do a year of service, and someone very influential in my education was a MACC VISTA herself! I've worked in advertising and politics, and wanted to try higher education out for a change!
What is the role of higher education institutes in their community? Higher education is never separate or apart from the community. The university or school is always within the community, so their role is to be a part of that community, and to engage the students within that community.
