Why did you join MACC VISTA: To use my skills and knowledge to increase positive change in communities.
How does service-learning benefit students and/or the community? It benefits both students and the community by connecting them to each other. Students gain an understanding of the issues that surround then, while growing from their experiences. Students can then carry these experiences with them throughout life and build upon them.
