Why did you join MACC VISTA: I joined MACC VISTA because I wanted to continue the service I started in college. I knew I wanted to work with people my own age and I knew I wanted to work in a college setting. I also wanted to explore the country a little more and get out of Michigan. MACC has a GREAT program and I knew I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
How does service-learning benefit students and/or the community? Service-learning gives students a chance to give back to their community. It helps open their eyes to what is going on all around them and helps them become an active citizen.
