Students Who Are Questioning or
Coming Out
Questioning your sexuality or gender? Thinking about coming out as
gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender? The LGBT Center provides
advising, referral, peer mentoring, and support/discussion groups.
- Talk to the Director of the Center, Dona Yarbrough. See our
calendar for Dona's weekly office hours in the Campus Center. Can't
make it then? Email lgbt@tufts.edu
or call 617-627-3770 to make an appointment. Dona is happy to speak
with you in her office or at another location on campus.
- Pick a Queer Peer to talk to. These
Tufts students have been trained to answer your questions and listen to
your concerns. They have agreed to maintain your confidentiality and
offer support and advice.
- Come to one of our support/discussion groups for undergrad and grad
students: Men's Group for GBT men; Women's Group for LBT Women;
QSOCA for Queer Students of Color and Allies; and the Bisexual Student
Group. Call the center or see our
calendar for days and times.
- Email lgbt@tufts.edu and ask to be
put on our undergrad or grad listservs. No one will know that you're
on the list, but you can find out what's going on in the Tufts queer
community.

resources and written material.
