Tufts and the LGBT Center are committed to
providing a safe and supportive environment for transgender, genderqueer,
gender variant, and gender questioning students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
The center director
has assisted transgender members of the Tufts community in finding
appropriate student housing, changing names/genders on university transcripts
and diplomas,
mediating conflicts with faculty or staff, and other matters.
