Students Who Are Questioning or Coming Out
Questioning your sexuality or gender? Thinking about coming out as gay,
lesbian, bisexual, or transgender? The LGBT Center provides advising, referral,
peer mentoring, and support / discussion groups.
- Talk to the Director of the Center, Tom Bourdon
Email tom.bourdon@tufts.edu
or call 617-617.627.3770 to speak or make an appointment. Tom is happy to speak with you in his office or at another
location on campus.
- Join the
Questioning and/or Coming Out Support Group (facilitated by Tom
Bourdon, Director of Tufts LGBT Center).
Thoughts and feelings about sexuality and the possibility of coming out can
feel challenging, confusing, and possibly even exhilarating. This support
group offers an opportunity to talk with a small group of your peers about
sexuality and the coming out journey in a confidential setting. For
more information, email Tom or
call him directly at 617-627-5770.
- Contact a Queer Peer to talk to.
These Tufts students have been trained to answer
your questions and listen to your concerns. They have agreed to maintain
your confidentiality and offer support and advice.
