Frequently Asked Questions
Can my child be placed with a friend or group of friends?
Unfortunately, we cannot place children in groups with their friends. We do not prearrange groups, but rather form them as children arrive at a designated registration location and time.
What's for lunch?
Each child is given a hotdog or veggie burger, a bag of chips, an apple, 2 cookies and a juice box.
Are snacks provided?
Yes, healthy snacks will be provided.
What if my child has allergies, special dietary needs, or specific religious observances?
Please indicate your child's specific needs on the registration form and we will do our best to accommodate them. Group leaders are trained in the use of epi-pens and can carry the pens for your child throughout the day.
What if my child has special needs, disabilities, behavioral or emotional needs that require special care or extra attention?
Please indicate any concerns that you have regarding your child's health on the registration form. We will be happy to provide additional leader support for your child's group to accommodate their needs.
How many children are in a group?
The goal is to limit the groups to 10 children, with each group having 2 or more group leaders. However, a large registration list may cause us to have slightly larger groups.
What should my child wear?
We recommend your child wear very comfortable clothing and sneakers. We suggest bringing a jacket or sweater along if the weather is cool.
What happens if it rains?
Kids' Day happens rain or shine! Kids Day is an indoor event, however, your children will be walking outside for brief periods of time between the buildings to get to and from each activity.
