Hundreds of Tufts undergrads serve the Medford/Somerville community annually in hopes of making the world a better place. Not only do Tufts students learn the value of giving back to the community, but more than 20 local organizations directly benefit from hundreds of hours:


  • Giving comfort to hungry families
  • Walking dogs in a shelter
  • Mentoring children
  • Teaching English to adults
  • Playing games with senior citizens
  • Giving blood for patients in need
  • Helping build low-income housing
  • Tutoring middle school students
  • Teaching conflict resolution
  • Taking spring break to those in need
