| Since 1958, when the Leonard Carmichael Society (LCS) began, thousands of Tufts undergrads served the Medford/Somerville community in hopes of making the world a better place. Many LCS volunteers move on to improve people's lives around the world, whether it be through developing or leading social programs or donating their free time to local soup kitchens.
