This was a great opportunity for the freshman to finally meet their Peer Leaders face to face!

The Peer Leaders cooked up some empanadas and served refreshments to Freshmen students at this informal gathering at La Casa.

Some of the Freshman students were taken on a trip to Jamaica Plain early in the school year. The group spends most of the time socializing and playing games designed to allow the students to feel more comfortable with each other during the next 4 years. Later on in the day, the students headed to a Cuban Restaurant based in Jamaica Plain.

Thompson Island is a small Island right off of Boston Harbor. We take the freshman students here every year. The retreat is focused on building a team environment and instilling confidence in our freshman. It's also about having a good time! For more info visit the Thompson Island Website.
