Mission:
The Latino Alumni Association of Tufts University seeks to create a community that works collectively to provide financial, academic, social and professional support to Latino alumni, students, faculty, staff and the Tufts community at large.Goals:
The goals of the Latino Alumni Association of Tufts University are as follows:• Provide a venue for professional networking among alumni.
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of Latino students, faculty and staff on the Tufts University campus.
• Advocate for the interests and concerns of Latino alumni and on-campus students.
• Assist the university and the Latino Center in the academic and personal development of Latino students by serving as mentors to current students.
• Participate in the formulation of Tufts policies as related to the Latino community.
• Promote awareness and involvement in local, regional and national activism.
