Getting connected to the ASE server

Host name: https://webdav.ase.tufts.edu

Once you've connected to the server, you'll need to to CHANGE directories and type in ASE. Follow the path to locate the web directory of your departments, center, institute or student organization.

Publishing Location, Username, Password:

The publishing location will be sent to you in an email after completing our online form.  Your username and password are the same as your Tufts domain username and password (network logon for faculty and staff; Eaton lab/network storage logon for students).  Complete the form now:

Client

You should be using a standard WebDAV client to upload files, or drag files via a web browser.
Dreamweaver has built in support for WebDAV, but versions prior to Dreamweaver 8 do not support WebDAV over SSL and, thus, cannot be used to connect to the server.
You cannot use telnet to upload files to the ASE server.
