of your department's web site. Our team is comprised of talented and

who are committed to bringing your
department's web site up to today's
standards.

Sites We've
Designed, Developed, & Update
Our process:
- Initial meeting is arranged to
discuss our process, design options,
information architecture, website goals,
and what is expected of departments.
- Department chooses a template (or
requests custom design) and is
responsible for delivering at least 50%
of their site content to ITS. Once
this text is received, ITS will:
- Create and present you with 2-3
design prototypes
- Request feedback from you
concerning the designs and refine
the chosen prototype into the final
site design
- Once final design is approved, ITS
will cut and code the design to industry
standards, work on information
architecture and integrate all content
provided to date.
- Department reviews site in progress
and delivers remaining text to ITS.
- ITS moves the final content into the
site and the site goes live!
- Your department enrolls in the ITS
maintenance plan for continued text updates

preferably in electronic format. The
sooner we get information from you, the
faster the process will progress.

Frequently asked
questions
In working with ITS, where will my department's site be hosted?
Your site will be hosted on ASE, our NT server. This means that after the
http:// it will have a URL something like this: ase.tufts.edu/departmentName.
Who will make content edits to the web site?
As listed above in Step 7, once the site is complete and live, ITS will continue to maintain the site.
Departments that rely on a staff member or skilled student inevitably run into
problems due to turnover and/or transitional periods. When ITS maintains your
site, we ensure consistency in quality as well as efficiency of the content
