Reporting Your Problem to the HelpDesk at 617-627-5898

When you contact the HelpDesk, the person you speak to will ask you for certain key pieces of information, including: 

  1. Your full name
  2. Department
  3. Telephone number
  4. Type of computer (Macintosh or pc)
  5. Operating system (Macintosh OS 9 or 10, windows 2000 or xp)
  6. Description of your problem (My computer won't boot, I can't print...etc)
  7. Has anyone else in your department had the same problem?

Make sure you are calling from a phone near your computer or the hardware experiencing the problem. 

If you leave a message, please speak slowly and clearly while providing all the details listed above.
