| ITS currently is working with the University to develop
standards for smartphones. In the past, we provided "best effort"
for all smartphones purchased by faculty and staff in AS&E. We are working toward
being able to recommend particular phones and service plans that
will be the best match to work within Tufts' infrastructure. Until such time
that standards are developed, smartphones are not supported by
ITS. We will continue to provide "best effort" to make your phone work at
Tufts and we strongly encourage you to contact us BEFORE you
make a phone purchase, service plan purchase, or begin any device setup. |
