Audio/Visual Services: Equipment & Pricing
(The price listing on this page is effective for all events taking place on or after September 1, 2011)
SOUND EQUIPMENT:
Small PA System: 2 speakers, powered mixer, up to 2 wired mics $ 120/day
Medium PA System: 4 speakers, mixer, amp, up to 4 wired mics $ 175/day
Larger PA per spec
Subwoofer System: 2 18" subs and amp (PA additional) $ 75/day
Monitor system with 2 speakers and amp (PA additional) $ 50/day
Sound in Asean auditorium, Cohen Auditorium, Barnum 008 or Sophia main room with up to 4 wired mics $ 80/day
Mic Stands separate from PA System $ 5/day
Dynamic/wired microphones $ 15/day
DI Boxes $ 15/day
Condenser microphones $ 20/day
Wireless microphones, handheld, lapel, or head-worn $ 70/day
Mixer separate from Small PA $50/day
CD player $ 20/day
Tape player for playback $ 20/day

LIGHTS AND VIDEO:
Portable 2-Tree lighting package with 8 dimmable lights $ 75/day
Data projector for video or computer $ 110/day
Tripod projection screen ($10 if rented with a projector) $ 30/day
Windows Laptop for use at AV Events $ 50/day
DVD, VCR, or combination player $ 20/day
Handheld video camera rental (miniDV or HI8) $ 25/day
Wired simulcasting per spec

HOTUNG CAFÉ:
With the new renovation, clients are responsible to cover costs of microphones and labor only along with other additional equipment like monitor speakers

COHEN AUDITORIUM:
Cohen Sound system with up to 4 wired mics and CD Playback $ 100/day
Strobe Lights $ 50/day

RECORDING:

  (includes necessary equipment and media; labor extra)
Videotaping to DVD $ 40/hour
Audio recording to tape or DAT, transferred to CD $ 25/hour
 
LABOR PER HOUR: $ 25/hr


General Policies:

The above prices are for estimate purposes only. The actual price for an event is determined after all services have been rendered.

Project Management Fee: All events requiring staffing for setup or being present during the event are charged a one time $30 project management fee.

Late Fees: ITS requires an event request at least 10 business days before the event is to take place. Events not scheduled at least 10 business days in advance may be subject to 1.5x normal labor and equipment charges. Events not scheduled at least 5 business days in advance are subject to 2x labor and equipment charges.

Cancellations: Event cancellations are expected at least 24 hours in advance. If an event is not cancelled in time to inform the technicians, you will be billed for their labor and unused equipment.

Charitable Events: ITS cannot offer discounts to charitable organizations or events due to University policy: allocating University resources for charitable purposes is not allowed. Remember that ITS A/V Services is not profit-making and strives to provide the lowest possible pricing.

Rented Equipment: ITS will rent equipment not in our inventory from appropriate local sources upon request. The client pays the rental bill in full, as well as labor charges for pickup/return of the equipment. During particularly busy times, ITS equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis; organizations who schedule their events later may have to pay higher equipment costs if ITS's inventory is not sufficient.

Overtime: 1.5x labor is charged between the hours of 1 AM - 8 AM on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday.
