I wish the Blackboard supports Japanese.
-------------------------------------------
Students do not use Blackboard as often as they should. Some seem to resent having to print, others do not have easy free access to a printer.
-------------------------------------------
I would like to see user interface improvements for large course offerings. There are often too many button clicks required to manage a multi-section course.
-------------------------------------------
I like the system--interface is intuitive and easy to use.
-------------------------------------------
I will consider using video files in the future but have not investigated this to date.
-------------------------------------------
I like the ideas listed above for possible additions, but I will say the *most* interesting idea to me is the plagiarism detection system.
-------------------------------------------
Blackboard has worked well for me for 4 years. Thanks!
-------------------------------------------
YES! I'd love the Interactive scheduler feature!
Thanks."
--------------------------------------------
Blackboard's Discussion Board is integral to my course, and the online availability of course materials--syllabus, assignments--keeps students on track.
--------------------------------------------
Blackboard support is excellent.
--------------------------------------------
It would be nice if I had access to all of my classes when updating grades rather than having to go back and forth through a few pages to get from one class to the other.
--------------------------------------------
A quicker way of viewing a summary of grades would be nice.
--------------------------------------------
Since I most often attach files, it would be good to have that option higher on the "add item" page so that I do not have to scroll down each time.
----------------------------------------------
Neal,-Thanks for your help throughout the semester. You are always fast and thorough!
-----------------------------------------------
Next semester I will be using Aplia for one of my courses. Aplia has great online HW assignments for many textbooks. Integrating that with Blackboard would be nice.
-----------------------------------------------
What I really want is 1) full support for Mac users 2) On-line interactive quizzes that I can author. (i.e. multiple choice and selecting an incorrect answer brings up a response to their answer.
-----------------------------------------------
I really like Blackboard, and I deeply appreciate Neal Hirsig's wonderful expertise and assistance in helping me learn how to use it. He is GREAT!
------------------------------------------------
Thanks for all you do! Blackboard has become a vital part of our
course design. Many thanks for this service.
-------------------------------------------------
editing within the site could be more user-friendly, so that an entire folder could be copied from one course to be pasted into a second course using the same materials, for instance.
--------------------------------------------------
Survey creation function is awkward and inconvenient.
--------------------------------------------------
Tracking of individual items didn't seem to work this semester."
thanks to Neal Hirsig for unflaggingly prompt, accurate, and very helpful support.
--------------------------------------------------
Better layout of documents in different section of the the site.
--------------------------------------------------
Some of my students have had trouble using the digital drop box. Simply adding a file to the dropbox doesn't send it to the instructor, but this is not very clear on the site.
--------------------------------------------------
Non-English Alphabets are important. I love the ""Course Statistics feature.
--------------------------------------------------
Thanks for your hard work to facilitate access to Blackboard from the very first day of class.
----------------------------------------------------
There seems to be so many steps in the functions--are there shortcuts or way to make the process streamlined?
----------------------------------------------------
Are there ways to make the interface look better--like custom icons, background?
----------------------------------------------------
Neal has been a great help, very prompt and knowledgeable.
Thank you, Neal!
