| How to choose an IR mentor: Check the mentor's profiles, select a student that might
fit your interests and email them directly. You can
either communicate via email or request to meet in
person. For more information on each mentor, click on
the name of the mentor and a new window will open up
with info on courses taken while at Tufts or abroad,
advisor information, and more.

Recognizing that peer advice could be a valuable complement to
formal faculty advising, the IR Program collaborated with
students in 2005 to create the IR mentors program, which
provides new and prospective IR majors with a resource for
questions about the IR major. Select any of the mentors below
who matches your interests and email them directly.
Who should contact the IR Mentors?
Prospective students, prospective majors, and current majors!
Who are the IR Mentors?
Junior and senior IR majors who volunteer to mentor other IR
majors, potential IR majors, and potential students interested
in IR at Tufts.
What can I contact them about?
Prospective and current majors should contact any of the mentors
with questions on how to choose an advisor, curriculum
requirements, course suggestions, and double majoring. They
should also feel free to ask the mentors about study abroad
experiences, internships, research, etc.
Prospective students (new students and transfers) should feel
free to email any of the IR mentors about why they chose the
Tufts IR Program and how they handled the transfer. They have
candid insights on the IR Program they would like to share.
How do I become an IR mentor?
Please email Moira Todd, IR Program Administrator, with
this information.
