Lindsey Tannenbaum

    Lindsey Blair Tannenbaum, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, is currently a senior at Tufts University. After three years of Alzheimer's Research and pre-med courses, Lindsey decided that her interests lie in Finance. Lindsey is a quantitative economics major with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Lindsey enjoys skiing, basketball, and long walks on the beach.

Chris Cerrone

    Chris Cerrone, born and raised in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts is currently a sophomore at Tufts University pursuing a degree in Economics. Chris joined the Tufts Financial Group in his freshman year as the Lead Analyst for the regional and major airlines industry. He has since left that post and served as Vice President of Portfolio Strategy before taking his current role as Senior Analyst. Chris attributes the dramatic progress he has made in his understanding of the financial world to Tufts Alumni Kevin Callahan, whom Chris currently works for as an intern in Century Capital Management’s Public Securities Group. Outside of finance Chris enjoys skiing, spending time on the water with his family, and is an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.

Brian Mommsen

Brian Mommsen was born and raised in Greenwich, CT. He is currently a senior at Tufts University majoring in English with a minor in Economics. After spending the first three summers of college working as a summer paralegal at the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, Brian decided that his interests lie in the financial industry. Last summer, Brian worked as a summer analyst within State Street Corporation’s Global Treasury Group helping to manage their $70 billion in-house portfolio of assets. Brian has been involved with the Tufts Financial Group for three years, and currently he is a vice-president and Director of Programming for the group. In his spare time, Brian enjoys skiing, traveling, watching the Yankees, and most importantly, following the markets.

Alex Chace

    Alex Chace is a native of Providence, Rhode Island and current sophomore at Tufts University. He is currently pursuing majors in Quantitative Economics and Cognitive Sciences. Alex joined the Financial Group late in his freshman year as an analyst and took on the role of Vice President of Information Technology the following year. He is now responsible for the maintenance of the Group’s web site. In addition to these responsibilities Alex contributes to the Tufts Financial Review, a bi-weekly financial news section which appears in the Tufts Daily.

Alain Digon

    Alain Digon has displayed his love for investing since the age of 8 years when his grandfather helped him pick a stock to buy with $250. Ever since then, he has focused on building awareness and teaching about investing to students his age. Throughout high school Alain participated in stock market competitions and summer business camps including Wall Street 101 and LEAD Program in Business. As co-founder of the Tufts Financial Group with 3 colleagues in 2004, he brought his passion for education and investing to campus, where a hole had previously been. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. as a summer intern, Cowen & Co, as an Equity Sales Intern, and at a small consulting firm in Boston. He is expecting to receive a B.A. in Quantitative Economics in May 2008.

Pat Schaufelberger

    Pat Schaufelberger is a current junior pursuing a double major in Quantitative Economics and International Relations. He joined TFG as an analyst and became a member of the executive board during his sophomore year. As Vice President of Journalism Pat founded and manages the Tufts Financial Review, a bi-weekly insert in the Tufts Daily, which covers news related to the financial world. The publication process involves managing a team that consists of 20 student-writers, editors, and layout designers. This past summer Pat worked as an intern in Sales & Trading at Forex Capital Markets (FXCM). During his internship he gained experience in FX trading and developed a broad knowledge of financial markets. During his free time he enjoys playing guitar.
