Keynote speaker: Professor Ken-ichi Miura, Franklin and Marshall College

演題「初級から卓越級まで:"Breakdown"考察」

Ken'ichi Miura has previously taught at Northwestern University, Harvard University and Temple University prior to assuming the role of Director of the Japanese Program at Franklin & Marshall College. He has also taught for many years at the Japanese School at Middlebury College Summer School in Vermont. At Franklin & Marshall, he has been teaching Japanese language, Japanese literature and Japanese pop culture, and is currently involved in a project regarding utilizing contemporary anime both in language and content classes. In addition to his professional teaching career, Prof. Miura works as a tester and a tester-trainer of OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) and WPT (Written Proficiency Test) of the Japanese language for ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages). He also tests Japanese language proficiency for US governmental organizations.
