I grew up in Durham, NC and attended Williams College where I
received a B.A. in Mathematics. I am pursuing an MS/Ph.D. in
Mechanical Engineering under Marc Hodes at Tufts University. My
research interests include physical mathematics and the application
of superhydrophobic structured surfaces.
Biomimetic technologies, such as superhydrophobic surfaces, have a
variety of applications. I hope to research various possible
applications in robotics for these structured surfaces. In addition,
I am exploring various topics in physical mathematics, aiming to
develop more robust analytical tools for researchers.
