Nikolas Kastor, originally from Greenwich, CT, attended Fairfield University and received his B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. While working in industry full time, Nikolas worked toward his
M.S. in Mechanical Engineering part time at Tufts University. In the spring of 2014, he defended
his thesis on the modeling of a MEMS micro-fluidic shear stress sensor and received his degree.
Niko is now a Ph.D. Candidate in Mechanical Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Robert White.
His research interests include but are not limited to MEMS sensing and actuation as well as soft
