Inviting a Family Member to Visit you in the U.S.

If a parent or sibling will visit you in the U.S. and you are concerned about his or her ability to obtain a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, you may request a "Family Invite Letter" from the International Center.

You will need to go to the International Center to obtain a form that clearly documents who will be visiting you and why.

After the International Center receives your request, a letter from the International Center will be written within 7 days. You can pick up the letter once it is ready and send it to your visiting family member(s).
